Welcome to Troop 209's website

It's an exciting time for Troop 209, as we celebrate our 84th year. Troop 209's Charter Organization is Perinton Presbyterian Church in Perinton, New York. As of September 2020, we are back to meeting in person!! (following all recommended safety protocols). We normally meet Monday evenings at 7:00 pm in a lower level classroom of the church on Pittsford-Palmyra Road (RT 31). However, due to COVID-19, we have been meeting at alternate locations.  If you are interested in visiting our troop, it would be best for you to contact our Committee Chairperson (Kristen Caraccio, 585-734-1294) or our Scoutmaster (Brian Krieger, 585-880-4780) to find out where we are meeting for the week you'd like to visit. We would love to have you visit our Troop at anytime!!

Our Troop has achieved Gold Level certification in the Boy Scouts of America's Journey to Excellence program which denotes the overall quality of a Troop's program and training of our Troop leadership. Our scouting program provides training in the life skills needed to help your son to succeed as an adult while having fun and creating life long friends. Earning merit badges and increasing in rank helps the Scout see his progress and gives them recognition for all their hard work.

Everyone is welcome and is encouraged to come see what exciting adventures and fun activities are happening at Troop 209.

Fun Activities We Do As A Troop:

  • Fishing, Hiking, Backpacking, Tent Camping

Troop 209's Latest Eagle Scout

Posted by dkolczynski1 on Jul 10 2020 - 10:11am

Please congratulate Aidan Kolczynski for successfully completing his Eagle Board of Review and receiving the rank of Eagle Scout on Thursday, July 9th.  Aidan designed and built an 8' x 8' storage shed for St. John's Lutheran Church in Victor, NY last fall.  He will be heading to the University at Buffalo in the fall.

Collin Vimislik is Troop 209's Newest Eagle!

Posted by smckee on Jun 24 2020 - 10:03pm

Please congratulate Collin Vimislik as Troop 209's newest Eagle Scout. Collin did a great job in front of the Eagle Board and answered their questions with confidence. The board didn't take long to come to the unanimous decision that Collin represented himself as an Eagle Scout. It was my pleasure to be Collin's troop representative and I was honored to be asked to take part in his memorable occasion. Collin will be heading off to Alfred State to study Architecture in the fall and hopes to be able to stop in from time to time to help our some of the younger scouts when he is back in town. Congratulations Collin! You made me and Troop 209 proud. Scott McKee, T209 USR
